"As a result of Foreign Visits of Prime Minister Modi, the FDI inflows have witnessed 40% increase in 2015(upto December) over the corresponding period in 2014. Moreover, India's overall trade in goods with these countries has risen 2.3% from 2013-14 to 2014-15", this was announced by Commerce and Industry Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman in a written reply to Rajya Sabha.

17th NAM Summit
Venezuela is successfully hosted the 17th Non-Aligned Movement Summit which took place in the island of Margarita from September 13 to 18.

The 17th summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) concluded on Venezuela’s Margarita Island with a declaration.

With 120 member states, the NAM is the second largest international body after the United Nations. It has 53 members from Africa, 39 from Asia, 26 from Latin America and the Caribbean, 17 observer countries and 10 observer organizations.
